The Citizens have reportedly shown interest in recruiting the youngster after he was previously approached by City’s local
rivals, Manchester United.
Rodwell has been in fine form this season and has made himself of repute with some wonderful performances for David Moyes. Manchester City boss, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323, in his bid to rebuild the squad, has wished to sign the 20-year-old from Everton. City have
already qualified for UEFA Champions League leaving behind the potential chasers, Tottenham Hotspur and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
In the wake of that feat, Mancini wants to build a squad that could fill in City’s requirements for Champions League football. Rodwell, on the other hand, has stayed calm over transfer speculations and mentioned that he would like to focus upon his team’s
upcoming matches.

The youngster was a part of Everton’s line-up, who were runner-ups during the 2009 FA Cup final. Toffees manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes, has expressed his desire to retain the youngster at the club saying that he is one of the best players and should stay at least

or staying at Goodison Park.
The Toffees are currently seventh in the League table with 51 points and will next be in action against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Saturday, May 14.
