Everton midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 has revealed he is happy at Goodison Park but admitted he could head towards an exit if the right club came calling.
It was only last season that the 24-year-old signed a long-term contract with Everton, but since then he has been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid. With the Blues having won the UEFA Champions League, Fellaini could be attracted to a move
to Stamford Bridge.
Along with Chelsea, Jose Mourinho is reportedly also looking to bring in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belgium-c2850 international. Interest from top sides have Fellaini considering the possibility of a move away and so far Chelsea and Real Madrid are favourites to sign him.
Fellaini said in an interview:
“I am ambitious; I want to play in the Champions League or in the Europa League. Last season we finished seventh with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019, and we were not able to qualify us for Europe which was a shame. If an ambitious club comes in for me? Why not, just to gain
experience but I'm on vacation right now, I do not give [speculation] too much attention.”
The Belgian midfielder revealed he was extremely happy at Everton under manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes, but admitted he was ambitious and wanted to play Champions League football. That is something that will be guaranteed at both Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Fellaini considered the possibility of joining Champions League winners http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and revealed he already had many friends there. There are several Belgian players at the London club and Fellaini felt he would settle in well at Stamford Bridge.
He said:
“They talked about me in Chelsea? If I had to go there, I would have several friends - Hazard, Lukaku, De Bruyne, Courtois ... There are many Belgians! It's good for the national team.”
Speaking on Chelsea’s new signing, Eden Hazard, Fellaini believed the former Lille playmaker would do well at the club. He felt the 21-year-old would prove to be a success with Chelsea in the English Premier League.
Fellaini revealed:
