Every 30days moon comes in between sun and earth, why doesn't an eclipse happen?

  1. Because the moon's orbit around the earth is in a slightly tilted plane relative to the ecliptic plane (the ecliptic plane is the plane of the earth's orbit around the sun). So for half its orbit, it's above the plane, and for half the orbit it's below the plane. It's only going to cause an eclipse if it is between us and the sun at the same time it crosses from above the ecliptic to below the ecliptic (i.e. it won't happen every time the moon orbits the earth).

  4. It does, and somewhere there is an eclipse,  but not every time is the earth in the right position.  

  5. Even though the sun and the moon comes between the earth and sun, the moon doesn't always get to a straight line. So, that's why we don't always get a eclipse


  6. Because the orbit of the moon is tilted 5° with respect to the Earth´s orbit.
