like seriously. i'm a junior in high school. never had a real relationship. girls tell me i'm not bad looking, and that i'm really sweet and funny.

its like i'm missing something.

You're problem is that you are the typical 'nice guy'.  You lack confidence, you aren't assertive enough, you are a girl's doormat and are more of a girlfriend than a boyfriend, as in, you sit for hours hearing all her problems, and you are probably boring to be around.  This is what will always land you into the friend zone and nothing more.

You are too sweet and funny is my guess. There is a time to be a friend and a time to be a man. Be the man first, get the girl, then be the friend. When a girl looks to date they don't want to date a friend...they like the game of finding a man. If you always act like a sweet guy who wants to be a friend, then you will always be a friend...or you are g*y...(nothing personal.) A girl wants a man first and a friend second. Put yourself in that order and things will change.
