Every morning i wake up and spit brown mucus and it is sometimes bloody what is it?

the first thing I thought about was tuberculosis, but since you don't cough...it's probably something simple, but you should really see a doctor.

You probably have a sinus infection.  Sometimes your ethmoid sinus (directly behind your nose) can get infected, and you never know about it because it doesn't usually hurt, like the other sinuses.  A saline nose bidet often helps.  You can get the disposable kind at the drugstore, and those are much less expensive than the refillable ones.

Brown mucous is very likely clotted blood. If you are spitting blood you need to seek medical attention immediately! I would go to see a family doctor ASAP and going to an ER is also justifiable. It is also possible that you have a minor nosebleed (which maybe caused due to dryness in the air or digital trauma to the nose..aka putting your finger in your nose and accidently damaging something). If that isn't the case, seeking medical attention ASAP is highly recommended.

Probably an upper respritory infection. See your doctor, you probably only need some anti biotics.

Lung infection of some kind. Do you work around insulation or chemicals. You need a chest x-ray and a Doctor's exam. Depending on what part of the country you live in , there are some lung deseases that are rare and found in dry climates. It is caused by something in the soil.
