  1. Timing.... Try adjusting the time you leave to see if this helps

  2. It was me! Now it's up to you to decide whether i'm god, an engineer, or a mad monkey scientist, not sure why monkey but it works.

  3. Try this. (I do it out of boredom on my 26 mile commute.) Keep a note pad and a pencil next to you where you can make tick marks without taking your eyes off the road. Put a mark for each red light you stop at and a mark for each green light. Compare the numbers when you get home. I will bet you that if you do this for a week you will find that it's about half and half. There are days when I hit more red than green, but they are rare days. In fact, I find that I hit sometimes 60-65 percent green. This will do two things for you. First, it will take your mind off of complaining about red lights. Second, it will prove to you statistically that you are wrong. You see, you tend to remember all the reds and none of the greens. This is human nature, and is more noticeable when you are in a hurry or late. But simple statistics don't lie. I will bet you best answer that I am right.

  4. Even speed up or slow down.  Normally if you keep getting caught by red lights and your already speeding then slow it down and see if you can catch more greens.  I mean there's this one light that always gets me I tried to do 65 mph in a 45 and I still got caught by the light.  Yet now when i do 45-50 by that light normally I make it.  Also note that some traffic lights are controlled by the speed everyone is driving I don't know if they still have that setup but I know a few lights used to.  Good luck  One more thing why do you think its called a stoplight its supposed to stop you. ha
