I have to turn off my computer, wait a while, then start all over. Everything is connected tight, so what's my problem?

  1. the same problem is happening to me too.

u might need a new router. that's what i need.

try just turning off your dsl thing and what about 30 minutes and then turn it back on. wait about a minute and see what happens

  2. Look at your browser settings - make sure you're not configured to go offline - before you shut off your computer go to File, then scroll down and make sure Work Offline isn't checked. If it is, uncheck it.

Alternatively, install another browser like Mozilla or Opera and see if you can hit sites in those browsers. If you can, it's not your internet connection, it's the browser itself.

  3. Happens to me too.

    I think its loose wires.

  4. does this happen to every webpage?

if you enter a webpage wrong, or the web server on thier end is down then that message will be dispalyed.

if it is every web page, then yes it sounds  like you have a dodgy connection, ring your ISP to get them to sort it out.

  5. try using Firefox web browser
