Every time I mention a pesticide or bug spray someone gives me a thumbs down. Why?

I feel that I am really careful with it. I love the good bugs, bees and butterflies and even spiders. But I'm not going to let pests live in my house or eat my pets.

pesticides are a problem only if they are misused.  As long as you are following the directions on the bottle there is nothing wrong with them.

Because there are a bunch of "greeners" here that don't read all of the usage instructions on containers. Most chemicals are safe if used properly. They are the ones you see asking how to rid their homes "naturally" of all the pests. Many are just too cheap to invest in what really works. Surprised they have time to "thumbs down" you since they are busy scratching.
