Every time I sign to Yahoo my computer runs slow. Why does this happen?

It never fails, everytime I get into yahoo my computer becomes a slow piece of c**p, not to mention my already piece of junk yahoo music beta music video player starts getting worse than it already is. Is there anyone out there besides me that thinks yahoo is a piece of Shiiiittttt?!!!

Try cleaning up your cookies, temp files and history, then restart your browser.

Add some computer memory dude!  Your system is probably paging itself to death.

Task Manager main window at the bottom right.  Commit Charge:  xxxM/yyyM

If xxxM approaches the memory you have installed, then you are in trouble.  yyyM reflects the size of your page file.

Check paging rates:  Administrative tools->Performance.

Again under task manager, see what process is gobbling the CPU (assuming your CPU levels are consistently high).

Next time, tell the kiddies at home what OS you are running, dial-up or broadband connection, laptop or desktop, CPU speed and amount of RAM.

Hey Blade, do you have any Yahoo toolbars or some plugin that resides in your browser's interface?If not then it may slow down because of specific macromedia clips being displayed on Yahoo.Check the version of your macromedia player plugin in your browser.

I have this problem as i surf through sites that have macromedia clips then my PC slows down 50%.This is why i surf only through FireFox and NOT Internet Explorer, because if i do, latter it just crashes.(I defenitely should consider reinstalling Windows XP)
