Ever since I got the new Windows Vista I have not been able to play any music on my yahoo jukebox, because every time I try to download and play an .ogg file it suddenly becomes unresponsive. What is happening? Is there any solution to this problem?

If not are there any other music players that can play .ogg file?

Please help me answer this problem.

  2. I don't like what I found.  Yahoo is using a set of oggcodecs from illuminable.  You can verify by looking in add/remove programs.  You should see an entry for oggcodecs 071.0946.  This is considered by illuminable to be a "stable" release.  It was made available 02/24/06.  Check out this page from the illuminable site:

I don't like the following statement:

Current priorities - Better encoding support, vista support, tagging, shell integration, Windows Mobile 5 support

This suggests to me that oggcodecs is not supported under Vista!

Sorry, I don't have the time to delve too much deeper.   You might want to report a problem to Yahoo! Customer Care.  Good luck. :)

I have no experience with the following sites.  I can not take any responsibility for adware, spyware and so forth, but in answer to your question:

or to convert ogg files so you can play them
