  1. Can you give examples to support your question/statement.

  2. every time any country challenges US power in world politics in any way , US try to crush it to the limit that it would not stand before US in future. while doing this US  also make use of the strength and weaknesses of that country for its self-interest and problem remains unsolved, if there is any .

  3. I agree.

Let's let the b******s fight it out or die like rats for themselves. Let's keep our own money at home, and the next time a tsunami or earthquake or other disaster strikes some unfortunate land, let the Russians or the Muslims or the Filipinos or whoever else take up the righteous cause and spend their billions and their time and energy to help the people. Let someone else do all the dirty work and hard work to try to help those less fortunate and miserable. Let's stand by and watch the Swiss and the Chinese rush to help the downtrodden and the persecuted. Let someone else nose-dive deeper into debt for the assistance of some other country. Let's keep our money and troops and services at home where they are needed, repelling people that will risk life and limb to get into this country for an opportunity at a better life.

Let's forget all about the rebuilding of Japan and Germany after WWII and the fact that neither of these countries have ever paid a dime towards just the interest of what it cost the U.S.

Let's give the American Red Cross a break and help them save themselves from their own good hearts and keep the supplies at home and let the disease and famine in other countries continue, and people in need suffer needlessly because no one else on earth gives a d**n.

Let's allow others to be first in line to give the greatest amount of their resources and knowledge and assistance for a few years, and let them have a chance at glory. Let other countries make all the friends they can for a change and keep every cent of our money in our country and let the world develop their own methods with their own intelligent people.

They do not need us or our money or resources, and we do.

  4. Examples would be helpful in this.  If you are suggesting that in all cases victims of US military action are like Iraq, you are very mistaken.  Also, please note that war is inherently chaotic.  It is hard to imagine that military action against another country that topples the government could be stabilizing in the immediate aftermath.  When the destabilization occurs it may unleash forces that have remained pent up under the previous government (e.g. Iraq, which is really three countries cobbled together by the British during colonial times, India/Pakistan/Bangladesh, Southeast Asia - Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Austria-Hungary, do you really need more examples?) and chaos can be the result until those disputes can be dealt with.

The US has taken it as its responsibility to try to resolve those issues and to leave our opponents stronger and healthier than when we came into conflict.  I don't think there are many other countries that, having beaten another country in a war, give any thought to how they have left their opponent.

The "USA is an unprincipled aggressor" line comes staight out of the old Cold War rhetoric.  That has been passe for some time now.  Read some new histories and listen to someone whose political mindset wasn't formed in the previous century and you can get past this...

  5. that's what war is the last i checked.but all are now prosperous aren't they?

  6. Firstly, it is difficult to answer your question, because, you already have a preconceived opinion of US's military activities by using the word, "invade"....if you meant, US's involment on military operations against another country for whatever reasons, I would have to say, objectively as a non US citizen, that while all war is chaotic, I personally, feel US has helped many countries and people, by sacrificing its "blood" than it has contributed to created chaos.   I am from one of the countries that benefited by US involvement in WW II, and its continued presence in my region.

  7. Case in point.

In the late 70's, after Vietnam was giving China a lot of problems on their southern border, and after repeated warnings, China went in and spanked their azzzes, then left one month to the day in total slamming the door behind them with a stern warning they'd be back and make it worse if it ever happened again.

China now gets along fine with Vietnam.

We invade, install our system of government then stick around for decades.

China has made a pledge to the world they will not invade a sovereign nation.  They have also stated they believe in a sovereign nations right of self determination.

Obviously we have made no such pledges or statements.

China is a very old and wise country that centuries ago understood imperialistic behavior has long term hidden costs that can drain a robust treasury.

    NOTE:

Tibet is not considered sovereign by any nation, the UN or the Dali Lama himself.  Tibet has long historical ties with China and emperors wanted it back way before Mao invaded in the early 50's.

Taiwan, today they have pretty normal relations.

  8. Really? Japan and Germany are doing d**n well.

  9. no.thats a blanket statement I dont agree with at all.

  10. I am guessing that you are not an American  ?

Anyhow i think that you are probably basing your statement on the issue of the invasion in Iraq, but i have seen then gone into other countries and really help out situations, although countries like Myammar And Korea do not want there presence at all.Nevertheless ever situation is different

  11. What an ignorant statement slash question. Not only is it wrong when looking back through history it is wrong today. Another person basing the opinion on the war off the picture the media has painted for them.

  12. War usually does that.  Funny how those countries have become stable and prosperous later.

  13. Is this a question or a statement?

And did you mean "more chaos, then peace" or "more chaos than peace".

There is a world of difference there. Spelling counts.
