  1. Your jaw is probably misaligned. Most people can unhinge their jaws. When you yawn or take a big bite of food, that's what you're doing. Most of the time, the jaw re-aligns properly, but sometimes the jaw has trouble getting back into its place. If it doesn't hurt, you're probably fine, but you should see a dentist to make sure that there's not another cause. Also, a dentist can snap your jaw back into alignment so that you won't crack any more.

  2. well, this is a sign of possible TMJ. temporomandibular joint disorder. It may progress into pain if you do have it, so it is really important that you inform you dentist. This is more common than you think, and you should really get it checked out before it worsens, and you need surgery.

  3. YES U HAVE TO TELL UR DENTIST ABOUT THE CRACK

  4. You probably grind your teeth at night, and this is from the wear and tear, put on your jaw bone. Your dentist can fit you, with a night guard, that helps.

  5. Stop doing that! If there's no pain it's not a big deal. It's very common in fact. But you're making it pop by moving it to the right. Basically what is happening is the disc that is in between your lower jaw and your skull is popping out of position. One of these days it won't go back, and they it's going to hurt...a lot. So do yourself a favor and don't do that.

And FYI having crooked teeth has nothing to do with your jaw popping, and don't let anyone tell you differently. If that was the case then every orthodontist in the world would be out there with a street sign saying: if your jaw pops you need your teeth straightened..not true.

  6. Yes! Inform your dentist! Maybe your teeth are shifting, thats what happened to my dad.
