  1. This is very common, nearly all computers/laptops do it. it's when they start-up and they look for your files. Sometimes one is missed, just ignore it, but if you actually find a file missing go to the administrator.

  2. does yourm echine start after that or does it get stuck.

This file could be from a number of things -- either you have a spyware or virus ... in which case I'd suggest spybot s&d (it's free) and do a scan on your machine using your current anti virus.

It could also be from a software you deleted or uninstalled which has a file in the startup.

  3. if you have Win Xp there is no such file by this name in C:\Windows---its either a maleware or a  virus that has been programmed to add at startup----try to get Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6 from www.safer-networking.org and run a scan.or better get Trend Micro Hijack This--it will show all that's running on your computer and then carefully delete it.

  4. In the Start menu, go to "Run..." and type "MSCONFIG"

This will open the microsoft configuration utility

Go to the Startup tab and look for whatever it is that uses that command. Then uncheck it's box and Windows won't try to load it at start up.

Close the Utility and it will ask you to restart.
