Every time i try to copy and paste something my computer keeps pasting a website i copied a long time ago?

i dont know how to fix it... does anyone know?

  1. sounds like your clipboard is "stuck".  I'm not sure how you un-stick it, but try this. Go to Start > Run and enter CLIPBRD

    This will bring up the Clipboard Viewer program. This program shows you what's currently on your windows clipboard.  If it's showing that website, clear it (Edit > Delete).  Then, while leaving the program open, go somewhere and highlight some text and press Ctrl-C (copy).  Now go look at the clipboard viewer and see if it's there.  If it is, try pasting the text someplace.

    PS: clipbrd is on XP.  If you're on Vista, I'm not sure if it has the same utility.  Give it a try though.  If it doesn't work, google "vista clipboard viewer"
