  1. Supercooling is disturbed by any dirt, scratches, or vibrations.  You will never get past the vibrations in your freezer, so you will always be limited by that.

Your best luck might come in a freshly blown glass bottle, which will have no scratches inside.  Most commercial beverage bottles are such.  Just get a bottle of beer or pop or water (like perrier) and try to supercool it before opening it.  The only drawback is if you leave it too long, it will eventually supercool and explode in your freezer, so put a container under it.  I have had luck doing this with beer and about 2-3 hours in the freezer.  It often freezes spontaneously upon opening, unless you open it very carefully by warming the top first and not shaking it too much.  You can get it to pour into a cup and it might turn into instant slushie while pouring, or you might have to seed it with a piece of ice or a scratch on the glass.  You may be able to carefully clean a new bottle and add very clean water and freeze it to achieve supercooling.  Cool party trick if you can figure out the magic time in your freezer for beer or pop.
