Can any one explain what happens when the shuttle punches a hole in the ozone layer? Or is it just globle warming? Or is there a connection ?

  1. There is no connection as the effects on the atmosphere of a tiny shuttle are infintacimal. It may just be that the UK has c**p weather.

  2. Its a possibility that we have a space shuttle that is offended because every time it takes off the British and Irish bring on bad weather.~~

  3. Yeah, let's shoot it down and have a hot summer.

Do you think the space shuttle is fixed in a geosync orbit so that it blocks the sun hitting UK?

  4. At any time, there is good and bad weather around the globe, perhaps the good makes the bad possible.  The space shuttle must be launched in good weather meaning that the bad weather must be elsewhere (UK & Ireland?) that particular day.  A great deal of energy is expended during a launch but it is only a drop in the bucket compared to the energy of a lightning storm and likely has nil affect on the rest of the globe.

  5. The space shuttle has flown 123 times over the last 31 years.

That works to an average of one flight every 92 days. Are you implying that UK and Ireland have been experiencing one extra day of bad weather every 3 months due to rocket launch?

    Honestly?

Who would notice such a small change.
