Question:

Everybody is out to get me?!?!?!?

I feel like everyone is secretly out to get me, or is secretly rooting for my misfortune.

I'm really paranoid, I know.

But how do I get over this?

How do I know that people aren't out to get me?!?!?

  1. When we are young, we are very egocentric. It's all me, me, me, I, I, I.

Refocus your attention onto something else.

Sometimes when we have these feelings, it is because we have been doing or saying things to other people that aren't very nice. The inner guilt builds up and instead of taking responsibility for our own stupidity and errors, we decide that the world is out to get us. It's not our fault, it's the world. Nope, its us. Sometimes we just need to clean up our own act and admit when we are wrong. Amazing how the paranoia goes away the minute we take responsibility for our own mistakes.

  2. That's not true, I'm not out to get you! Maybe go to a psychologist? Or talk it over with a friend or someone you trust?

  3. Sweet Lily, we all feel like that sometimes, because things happen to us, but believe me most people are just too busy to set out to get you personally.  Try to go were there are crowds of people and start talking to them and you'll see they all have their own problems.  Some people may envy you and secretly root for your misfortune, but those people are cowards and they likely do the same to many other people as well.  Who cares about what they think, they're harmless, just ignore them. Take some college classes or do some volunteering and meet lots of new people and you'll soon get over that feeling.  Lots of luck to you and have fun.

  4. Okay you need to see a psychiatrist and get on some medicine.  That could be a symptom of bipolar disorder or paranoid schizophrenia.  They can give you medicine that will make all of that go away.

  5. your crazyy.

    geta phsyciatrist babe.

  6. Why would you ask questions about people out to get you to a bunch of strangers on the internet who might actually be out to get you?

  7. i have schizophrenia and i feel this a lot, among other things. so far i haven't done anything about it, but my therapist says to stop looking at the strange or suspicious thinks they do, and concentrate on when they smile at you or the nice things they do.

    hope this helps :3
