  1. no, americans should know Gustav is part of the plan to bring oil prices up and 7 dollar gas!!!! Dolly and eduard were silenced and they were worried, but gustav is giving them what they want.

  2. it's going to be really, really, really bad for new orleans... katrina wasn't that long ago...

thanks for the concern! that's mindblowingly sweet... lol.

  3. Gustav is category 4 and in New Orleans will be 5. Nature is furious!.

    Greetings from Australia!

  4. Thank you Sweetie. I'm thirteen miles from Galveston, Texas and my nerves are kinda shaking today. I feel like someone's holding a gun on us and we don't know when or if we'll be hit. If it goes into Louisiana we'll still get a lot of rain and some wind. Please keep us in your prayers and thank you for caring.

  5. its not that bad they are exaggerating plus new orleans is dirty and poor anyway.

  6. My son is in Las Vegas on holiday with his friends and was due to fly to New Orleans on Monday next (he is a huge jazz fan and this would have been the high point of their trip) I just got a phone call from him telling me that all flights into New Orleans have been cancelled, it is heading towards Louisiana and wind speed is over 145mph which will be catastrophic if it hits landmass.

I hope everyone takes refuge and remains safe, as I just told my son - look wouldn't it have been far worse if you were there and had to hunker down for god knows how many days (some holiday then eh!)with your mum fretting back home.

Mind you he is still devastated.

Edit: Up the Deise - you never know we just might get Kilkenny on a bad day !

  7. Two plane loads of Scouse volunteers left Mersey side today, bound for the areas hit by the hurricane.

They will be assisting with the looting.

  8. Hey There,

Thanks for your concern and to the first poster who is obviously an idiot when it comes to this sort of thing with the amount of people that are already dead from the storm its hard for them to me stretching the truth or freaking out over nothing. Duh.. Some people. Look what happened in Katrina!! Anyway I am much further up the coast in America buts it is really nice for you to be concerned about us fellow Americans. Thanks.

  9. Mother nature is furious, and she takes no prisoners, but not to worry  about Louisiana, she now under the competent leadership of Governor Jindal.

  10. I'm up here in Donegal.I had my garage roof blown off in violent storm force 11 once.Scary stuff! Hope everyone stays safe over there.I just wish they wouldn't build such c**p houses.Haven't they heard of blocks?

Just said on the news that New Orleans is evacuating.Better safe than sorry.

  11. Well, thanks for your concern.  Yes, it is worrisome, but evacuations are being enforced, and everyone is taking this monster storm very seriously.
