im a single mom of 4. I shipped the oldest child to go live with his father because he was becoming way to disrespectful and i honestly couldn't handle him any longer...now my remaining 3 kids are pissed and my mother who also lives with us is barely speaking to me. (her oldest grandson was her favorite). The silence in the house is deafening.

  1. It will pass over don't worry

  2. thats cruel he needs you and its his age and you deprive him of his brothers if you where anything cloos to a real parenth you whode have put up with it and tryed to make your son better

  3. They only have a right to be mad if:

    1. You passed him off without trying to get help for the situation

    2. You stop trying to make the relationship with your son better

    3. He does not get to come home for regular visits

    4. You allow the father to have full-time permanent custody

Some people barely think about anything past the climax...let alone conception & birth

Kids are not easy to raise, and although it can be difficult...we can not throw them away without repercussions.

I do not know what you have or have not done, so I am not judging you. I am just giving an opinion.

    Best wishes

  4. You needed to do what you thought was right for your family and your family should support that.

  5. The father has just as much responsibilty for his kids as you, so dont feel bad. Maybe given a few months your son may realise his behaviour was wrong and give you the respect you deserve x

  6. Round 'em all up and ship 'em all out!

  7. you did what you had to do . . . if others who rely on you to care for them, put a roof over their head for them would have helped out more then maybe you wouldn't have been so overwhelmed.  Shame on your mother for not stepping up and being the elder she should have been for you and her grand children.

They can get glad in the same paints they got mad in.

  8. it will get better over time

  9. Time heals - they will be sore and missing him

  10. 1) Tell the kids you love them, whether or not they respond.

    2) Play some upbeat music and have a good day anyway.
