Do you think that the character, Ray Barone, in that show had AS? I know by all means that the actor doesn't have it and if he truly acts that way in real life, I'm sorry for bringing it out since it is an extremely private thing.
I believe the character has AS because of how he interacts with others. While he has a lot of friends and is very charismatic, it seems that he always misses the boat, has some unique bad habits, and always has a weird laugh. It seems that he is the last to understand the bud of a joke even though he is able to make people laugh and is a highly successful comedian. It seems that he does well with change, but that he feels comfortable when everything stays the same because it's going well. I feel that he is a better representation of a person with Aspergers Syndrome than Gary on Boston Legal because it is the subtle things (not the overt things) that define true people with the disorder. It doesn't have to be perilous and it is usually extremely subtle.
