  1. I'm going to say no to this one. It's certainly not a racial thing, but I'm not answering in a political sense. All people are created differently. There may be GROUPS of people who are created "equally." Some people share common interests, have the same skills, and have much in common. My group of friends or other groups like us are totally different than other groups of people that we may even actually know and that's why we're not friends with the other group. It's nothing personal, it's just that we're not the same. I hope that was explained well enough.

In a more political sense I can say yes, but I can throw a dash of no in there as well. In the past 45 years or so the world IN GENERAL (and i say that very loosely) has become a more diverse place in terms of acceptance of other cultures. I honestly believe that as people, we're trying to get better.

  2. Yes, we were all CREATED equally but we are definitly not TREATED equally.

  3. Everyone is, or should be, entitled to equality of opportunity by nature of their being human beings.

Equality of outcome is never guaranteed, however.

  4. This one depends entirely upon your point of view.

According to the US Constitution, we are all "created equally," meaning that we are all born with the opportunity to rise to the level of our abilities.  Sociologists don't want to consider that the Constitution gives us the chance to make it ourselves.

According to many sociologists, we are all born different, with different IQ's, different socio-economic origins and everything else.  The folks that look at the Constitution don't want to consider the fact that some people have a better chance right out of the womb.
