want to come home they are running out of money and cant keep paying hotel bills the good ole mayer wont let them in so they are on the road sleeping in cars i cant see a problem with them returning with or without power. why do people with authority do stupid things.people are stranded out of town .do you think he right?

Depending on WHERE you are, How would you be if Gustav were another Katrina?

People stayed for Katrina, too.  Some of them were killed and floating in the streets.  It is better to be safe than sorry.  Gustav was a cat 3 just before it landed.  Staying would have been stupid.  Right now they are restoring services in areas of New Orleans that were affected.  Right now, it's not yet safe to return.
