Unfortunately, British experts screwed up and the Portuguese were led down a false path targeting the parents.  The case can be re-opened if new evidence comes up but due to all the time wasted, it is likely that the kidnappers have gotten away and Maddie has long since been sold to an Arab sheik.

I don't think for one moment that Madeleine is forgotten. The case appears to have been mishandled from the beginning.

Her parents will continue the search until an answer is found.

These cases are so frustrating.  You always think they will be solved but look at Jon Bonet  I still pray for answers and for the parents.  I agree about the term "angel"

Tinker 77.   I for one will not forget Maddie McCann until she is found alive and well and returned to her parents. Unfortunately there are some people who are more concerned about crucifying her poor parents. Sad but true

I think you are right when you refer to her as an angel, I feel she is dead and is in heaven.

Yes is now closed but the Portuguese police will reopen the case if any clue is found
