Everyone gets reception but me!?

I have T-Mobile and live in Salt Lake City. When I am in my basement, i don't get any reception. I sometimes don't get it upstairs as well.I know it is not because of the way my house is build because every other phone company gets reception in my house, 5 bars! Verison, AT&T.....

WHAT CAN I DO TO GET BETTER RECEPTION!

My dad is a cheap a$$ and won't switch from T-Mobile because it is less expensive.

Do you get reception outside your home? If so, your best bet is to purchase a little instrument called a cellular repeater. This device works by taking the cellular waves from outside your house, and spamming them into your house. Usual cost is between $100 - $200, and installation can be up and running relatively quickly.

If you don't have reception outside your home, your only option is to convince your dad to move your family :)
