Everyone is trying to stop me from plastic surgery, why?

Question

I'm a 23 yr old Asian American girl, 5'6" , slim, and facially average looking. I want plastic surgery procedures:

1. Jawbone shaving

2. Cheekbone shaving

3. Nose re-done

4. Lips done

I have my OWN money, and I am INDEPENDENT. Yet my husband, my parents, & my friends keep stopping me from doing it. It's so UNFAIR!

Yes, there is a risk of death from the jawbone shaving due to a close artery, yes it is possible to go into a coma from cheekbone shaving, but I WANT IT. Why is everyone stopping me?

It's MY LIFE, IT'S MY MONEY. If I don't get this surgery, I will never, ever live my life happily. I will most likely suicide.

Can someone tell me why everyone is trying to stop me? I feel so frustrated.

Plastic surgery may not be a bad idea and it works well mostly on people with very obvious problem.  

However, don't count on plastic surgery if you are not a bad looking person.  It is not easy to improve the look on an already nice looking person, in fact, it is easier to ruin the face of good looking person, because its like work of art, how many surgeons do you think who knows painting portrays well, that is why most surgeons in fact can't produce the kind of results clients want.

I honestly don't see any problem with your face, decent jaw and cheek bone size, whats the problem ?

obviously because they love you and don't want you dead or in a coma all because of your selfish vanity. you sound immature by threatening to kill yourself and saying 'i want it' and 'its so unfair'.

Maybe they're trying to stop you because you don't need it!!! And if you wanna spend your money on something, spend it on a therapist! You're gorgeous! gosh! U_U

there's really nothing at all wrong with your face, but if you got one thing, i would just get the nose....nothing else thoughhh.

They are trying to stop you because you are already really pretty! I dont know why you want surgery. You have cheekbones that people would die for. And plus surgeons nowadays leave WAYYYYY to many instruments in peoples bodies. It's crazy. If you would just apply some make-up you'd be model status. Don't do something crazy like that to yourself. You don't want to lose your friends and family just because you  had a vain moment. (Oh and you won't look at good when you get older. It'll look really bad)

honestly...i do not see anything wrong with your face!!!!..why don't you try putting on some make up...and doing your hair!!!!...stop looking so much at what you think you dont have...and look at what you do have!!!!!!!

What the h**l? Seriously, your pretty and you really don't need surgery. They are stopping you because they will be sad if you die or go into a coma and they will miss you. you can live your life happily the way you look now. they don't want you to look like somebody else, because they really like you. don't get surgery and don't commit suicide. it's so selfish to commit suicide. you won't be hurting yourself as much as you will be hurting other people. you will ruin their lives and your husband will probably kill himself too.

Because it NEVER ends up looking right.  It's NEVER great, it's NEVER beautiful, it NEVER looks better than it was before.  Look at Cher, Michael Jackson, Ashley Tisdale, that woman who looks like a cat she's had so much plastic surgery.  You'll never be the same again, and you could get addicted.  You look FINE the way you are, you're beautiful!  Think of burn victims, deformed people, people with cleft pallats.  They're the ones who need plastic surgery, not gorgeous girls like you!!!
