  1. Hes improving every match can't wait to see what happens just hope federer doesn't win he is boring and doesn't deserve to win anymore

  2. He's good enough on hard court. He is 2 times runner up in Miami (2005 and 2008). He also won Indian Wells in 2007. So I think he has shot at US OPEN.

  3. He's not exactly a surpreme hard court player but he definitely has improved as the years have gone on. He's won a couple of hard court titles and been runner up to major ones also. Those super fast hard courts kind of wear down his knees a little bit when it comes down towards the US Open season. He certainly has potential but he'll run into better hard court players like Federer, Djokovic and Roddick and there far better hard court players than Rafa. I doubt seriously if he'll win it anytime soon but he certainly has potential if he stays healthy, he's got to stop playing so many tournaments and he wouldn't be burned out by the end of the year. The main focus is him staying healthy and he could definitely do well.

  4. he is ok on hard court.........but Federer is better..........and he probaly can't win the us open.......... he might make it to the semifinals or maybe even the finals but he won't win..................(but you never now he might just suddenly be good on harcout)

  5. no and no

  6. He won the Indian Wells Master's series of 2007. But Djokovic took away that title in 2008. And his knee injury dur'

wimbledon 2007 kept him from winning hard court match in 2007. I don't underestimate Nadal's ability to do well, come hard surface season. We shall have to wait & see...He is patient, but extremely focused on his agenda to prevail on all surfaces.

  7. He is good on hard courts, just not very wise. Last year he ran himself down to the ground playing nothing tournaments. Admittedly he is not as good on hard as he is on clay and grass, he is very capable of winning the US Open and the Australian.

Fact: Nadal reached the semis of the Australian only to lose to an inform Tsonga.

    Nadal also won Indian Wells.

He also defeated Federer twice on hard courts - Miami and Dubai (Federer's backyard).

Opinion: If Nadal and Federer met in the final of the US, who would you bet on?

  8. Not this year. And probably not next year. Rafa's improving and if he stays healthy, he'll be a person to watch on hard courts but for now, his game's not there. The best he's done on a hard court has been the QF. And with Djokovic and Federer in the mix, it'll be hard to determine the winner because they've both proved to be excellent players on hard courts.

  9. i dont think he can win US open

  10. only time well tell.. lets see how well he does during the US OPEN series events.. he might do well, he could have new found confidence after wimbledon..

  11. No.. he is working on improving his game on hard court. I don't think he'll win the US open this year...

  12. i think nadal is better than average in hard (but not great). in my opinion, djokovic and federer is more consistent in hard than nadal. so it will be hard for him to win the US Open.

but i hope nadal can improve his game in hard to win his 1st US Open title then takes the #1 spot
