Everyone say kimbo cant fight a superstar, but what if that super star cant knock kimbo out?

I saw on you tube a fight with kimbo and a fairly large man. Kimbo put his hands down and said, "Hit me." The man hit kimbo with all his might and didnt even phase kimbo, and that was with no mma gloves on. If he cant be knocked out, he could be the champ.

first of all people punch harder with gloves on, contrary to popular belief, especially on here, and the man was not a well trained striker, a good striker could deliver a lot harder blow.

also so what if he cant be knocked out, just take him down and submit him, there is no evidence of kimbo having any ground skills and his attitude and things he has said about groundfighting lead me to believe he doesn't have any, nor is he very interested in developing them, and who says the fight has to be finished, it could be a decision, and Big nog can't be knocked out, he's been beaten, same with henderson,

They aren't skilled or trained to fight.

one thing people haven't said besides the whole "professional thing" is that kimbo is sitting and waiting for a punch. he knows its coming. It's the one you don't see coming that gets you. in a fight, most KO punches aren't the super huge haymakers, but rather the punches that are timed perfectly and placed perfectly. to be a champ its much more than just taking a hit....

for starters that guy you speak of ( I saw that fight too) was not near his size at all.

second, he was hurt bad (with his beard and all) by a slim guy his height on the internet that I can't seem to find now.

third, I like the guy and like his story and think he has passion ..etc for fighting....but him WITH his beard against the top heavies in the sport would be brutal

Frank Mir aint washed up, hes under 30 and had a miracle comeback from a typically paralyzing accident.  A loss to Brandon Vera doesnt make him washed up, and neither does a win over an inexperienced brock lesnar.

Kimbo has one of the most solid chins ive seen, anyone see tank(who is over the hill) lay into him with all of his might and then shake his head? thats cause he was wondering how the guy was still standing...

i agree with the consensus that kimbo hasnt fought anyone yet, but i also wonder why people think a guy like chuck lidell would clean up on him.  if chuck wanted to stay standing up, how can you tell me chuck is a better pure boxer than kimbo?  chuck has great skills, and i respect him, but the one part of kimbos game which is actually underrated is his hands...he can box like a mother...

Yes, but what about Kimbo's submissions skills? We saw what happened to Brock Lesnar when he fought a skilfull BJJ fighter in Frank Mir. Sure, he beat the h**l out of him, but Frank's been washed up for a few years now.

Kimbo sucks Anderson Silva would knock his *** out and so would Chuck Liddell, Wandelei, and Rampage, so until he fights someone who you can name and people know who youre talking about he'll always be a joke.
