Question:

Everyone should have an equal opportunity to expand their knowledge?

I read this in a book, do you agree or disagree?

I believe that a large number of people do not have the opportunity to expand their education beyond the elementary or high school level. This is primarily due to them not having the economic means to support their family while they peruse their education. Fortunately there are some wealthy individuals and foundations that have recognized this problem and have begun to invest the resources and furthering the education of our community.

  1. I agree that everyone deserves the right to further their education. I do not think that grants or resources should be wasted on those who would not take the opportunity seriously and only use it as an excuse not to get a job.

A person should have to qualify for resources, have good grades or show an active interest in their community where they have to pay it back to the community, not to an investor when they actually complete their schooling. Many grants are available to the academically advanced. The impoverished, sadly do not have the same options in many regions of the world.

When everyone in the world can go to bed without feeling hungry, education should be the next important move.

  2. I agree.

I also accept your sentiments as valid.

    Best wishes. UK
