  1. u become a pro by joining the USTA

  2. You can't exacly get "selected" out of college. Tennis is an individual sport.  Winning the NCAAs or something could get you a wildcard into some tournaments.

if your a male you can first start out by playing on the satalite tour.  which is still professional and everything but just a lower tier of tournaments.  first you can enter the qualifiers at a future tournament.  they will always take the ranked players into the maindraws but if your lucky and not enough ranked players sign up you can be put in the qualifying draw.  If that does not work then you will be put on an alternate list.  If a player ahead of you pulls out then you will take his place.  After you play a few futures and build a ranking you can then play in higher level events.  The higher the money of the event the bigger it may be.  Again you probably will have to start off in qualifiers.  If you are capable of competing in those then you can enter the atp tour.

to enter the tournaments you can look at their websites and create an account with the itf circuit.  From there you will be able to register for tournaments.http://www.itftennis.com/mens/  there is plenty of info on there on the mens circuit.

if you are a woman and would like to play the process is virtualy the same.

    hope this helps

    good luck ;)

  3. Join USTA -check out their website and get details.

  4. join tournaments USTA !

  5. You can join the USTA and win Open Tournaments then play Satellites and Challengers and then make it to the Qualifiers of Grand Slams and eventually play Main Draw. It is quite simple actually you just have to play and win. It's not rocket science.
