  1. In my league everyone rotates and serves (except libero)

but the coach can sub in the good serving people for weak serves i guess.

  2. Yeah there is a server!

  3. yes you serve but its not like being a setter when you always set. you rotate who serves whoever is rightback when you rotate is the server.

  4. yea, how else does the ball get in play..duh

  5. yesh

  6. Yes and no. Obviously someone must serve the ball, but there is no designated server for every point. It rotates.

  7. ya theres servers, your rotate positions after the outs. tell your friend that he/she needs to go to a volleyball game and see

  8. Yes. How does he\she think the ball gets into play? It rotates around though, its not designated to one person.

  9. Ya, but you rotate the server every play.

  10. Of course there is!! although it's not like a position (ie a goalie in hockey). Everybody on the floor gets to serve eventually, so it's rotated.

  11. of coarse there is..thats how u get the ball over when u start...then it gets over and  start the game..very interesting..and soooo much fun

  12. Yes! every time you rotate clockwise  there is a server

  13. ya, but there is not a "server" position, how else would the ball be put into play

  14. in a way yes, but in a way no. there isnt one designated server, everyone serves unless there is a substitution or if there is a libero as liberos do not serve or hit
