  1. Yes. go for it. The price very cheap, take it as your future investment. I bought 3 bedrooms, it was sold as it is too. It cost me a lot more than yours. It 's in Chicago, it will be a good investment.


  2. Yuck, sounds like alot of work for $40 grand. The housing market is c**p right now so finding a decent house isn't very hard....

  3. If it's on the near-north side of Flint, Michigan...No way in "hot places"

    If it just east of Malibu, California...Let ME know, I'll buy it.

    Anyplace else, you'll have to decide....we don't even know where this place is!

    There is a home on Chicago's near-north side, similar in description to yours for $45,000 in a fairly nice neighborhood.

    I reckon I'd go for it if I were you. Make an offer for $10, 000 and negotiate a lower price...it's a "buyer's market"

  4. If it is basically cosmetic repairs and you can do the work ,go for it. That's a good price.

  5. if you have the time,knowledge and funds go for it.

    these lovely older houses need preserving.
