Question:

Everything's too big?

my computer shows all of my icons and pages too big.

i can't see all of the page and sometimes i can't reach my scroll bar.

i tried restarting it but that didn't help.

I'm running windows 2000 and don't tell me i need to upgrade.

  1. Press F11


  2. right click the desktop, and go to properties. then there would be a section like 'desktop' or 'desktop settings'.

    Make the size 768x1024, or as big as you can.

  3. this is easy,

    just right click where your icons are, but not on them, and select veiw and select normal, or classic icons

    that should make them normal size

  4. ok sounds like your screen resolution needs to be adjusted right click on an empty area of your desktop and select properties ....go to the settings tab at top right of the display properties window that will pop up and look for a slider that's called screen resolution slide it to the right until it fits your needs (i recommend 1024 x 768 for most people) also check your color quality make sure its set at least 16 bit then click ok at the bottom and your all set.

    If you cant adjust any of these settings or they just keep reverting back you will need to reload your video driver you can find one at the manufactures website.

  5. Go to Start, then control panel, then display. Increase the resolution; this should make everything smaller.
