  1. Try go into command prompt (should be in accesories in the start menu) Then type in recover and press enter

  2. Did you login with your normal login or a different login (as for example a guest account). Most operational systems store things in different places for different users, try turning your computer off and back on and be sure to login on your account and see if this continues, if it does I would suggest a system restore, you should be able to find information on how to do that from the help files in your computer.

  3. on the computer if its gone its gone unless u backed up your files......u might have a virus or something

  4. If you have windows xp use systems restore. Its a program that comes with your windows that goes to a certain date where you had your stuff that was deleted and restors what you've lost. Your computer might be different from mine so google how to start it up.

  5. No need to worry. Nothing gets "deleted" from your PC without you doing so yourself.

    Do the following -

    1. Re-Boot your PC whilst holding down the F8 Key. You get a screen giving you the boot options like Start Windows in Safe Mode or Start Windows Normally as before>> select this choice Start Windows Normally and the PC will ReBoot and Voila !! You will get all your stuff back again.

If that does not succeed, try System Restore. These are basically different days during the past month, that the computer memorises the State of your PC. If you want to, you can go back to the nearest date and press System Restore. Voila !!

To use System restore (I dunno what OS you are using) but I presume it is Windows XP. Do the following --

1.Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.

2.On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.

3.On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, and then click Next.

4.On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.

5.Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.

6.The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.

All the best and Happy Browsing.

PS - You computer freezes may be occurring because you do not have enough memory RAM probably.
