Ok I am now 10 1/2 weeks pregnant. I have a doc appt tomorrow. I know that sometime between the 12th and 15th week or so your nausea symptoms and everything are suppose to "come down" a little and not be so bad. However I have not felt sick really in the past four days and I am kinda worried. I haven't had any obvious signs of miscarriage like bleeding, cramps and whatnot. I also have a little bebesounds heart monitor that I use and I can hear the baby. My aunt told me that my mom handled pregnancy very well so my question is... Is something wrong with me or am I just turning out like my mother? lol Thanks alot, If you have a similar situation or had one, I would love to know.

  1. Be glad you're feeling better! :-)  Not every woman has long-lasting nausea or morning sickness, although many do. Some women feel sick just for a few weeks, and some women - like me - are lucky enough to have only a few queasy days or no sickness at all. The only time I got nauseated was about a week before I knew I was pregnant. I got mild heat exhaustion while my husband and I were playing soccer with nieces and nephews in 100-degree heat. (probably would have felt sick after that pregnant or not!) The only early pregnancy symptoms I had were sore b*****s (still sore at 21 weeks!) and fatigue, which lasted from weeks 11 - 13 and then went away.   Some of us are just lucky enough to feel well and not be sick during the first trimester.  My mom didn't have any morning sickness when she was pregnant with me, either.

  2. My mother had no morning sickness with any of her 4 pregnancies.. this is my second (almost 8 wks) and my first and so far this one.. no morning sickness at all... just like my mommy ; )

  3. consider yourself lucky! The nausea symptoms end by the 15th week, but can stop anytime before that. Don't worry, you are one of the lucky ones!!!

  4. I had very little morning sickness with all 3 of mine.  Be happy about not being sick.  You could be throwing up all 9 months that you are pregnant.

  5. I NEVER had morning sickness. The worst thing I have had to deal with so far is Heart Burn! Killer heart burn! I eat tums like candy! :)

35 weeks baby girl on the way!!!
