Everything is really big-how do i make it a little smaller?

all the words and the pages themselves are really big on my computer screen-how can i make everything a little smaller? please give details step by step so i can do it if anyone can help:) thank you!

right click anywhere on your desktop (on the background) and go to properties >settings then you will see a slider with screen resolution.Just move the slider to the right untill it says 1024x768 or untill you are satisfied and then click apply

Windows:

1. Right click on the Desktop

2. Hit Properties (or Personalize on Vista)

3. Go to Display Settings

4. Turn up the resolution by moving the dial. If it is already at max, then you may not be able to do anything.

5. Hit OK. It will take a few seconds to reformat your resolution.
