Everything red is on fire with an ugly pink...

Question

I have a Zenith A27A11D TV and recently the reds (anything red) has a firey glow to the point where the TV is not even nice to look at. The glow surrounds the reds and obliterates everything else. I have toned down the color manually a bit, but naturally now everthing is washed out.Any suggestions as to what this could be and if it's something an everyday joe like me could attempt to fix? What part would I need to buy and where should I look for it?Thanks,Todd
