Everytime I Add A Clip In Windows Movie Maker, It just turns off? HELP?

Everytime i try to add a clip in WMM it just turns off.

What am i doing wrong?

Im trying to reinstall it.

It's not there in Add and Remove programmes?

  1. man the SAME thing happens to me. It's not in the add or remove programs because it usually comes WITh ur computer so itz like permanent. I got a new laptop so i do my stuff there ware it wont turn off


  2. Follow the link, it will exactly tell you how to remove Movie Maker:

    To reboot in Safe Mode, keep on pressing the F8 key, till a windows appears, and you should see an option for Safe Mode. Select it.

    Then, try re-installing it. It should work.

    Also, if you're on Vista take a look here and try to update with what they've provided, it might help.

  3. Get a new video editing program. Like Ulead VideoStudio or VideoSpin. Windows Movie Maker does that after a while because it is ****.

  4. I noticed this when I'd try to click and drag videos in, instead it wants you to go to "Import Movie" or "Import Video" I forgot which but when I do that it works fine for me. .
