Everytime I go to search for something online, I am taken to some shopping website or something like it. help!

you have adware and you just need to run your anti-virus program to find and eliminate it/

Think you talking about a pop-up smart shopper. Next time it appears, in the upper right corner of the smart shopper pop-up you have choices of how it appears. I checked my as never, and it stopped.

Also go to start then control panel, then add/remove programs. Wait for the list to come up and delete all smart shopper programs. You can eliminate all except one, then do what I said above. It will stop.
