The carpet's new in my rental house and I've bought 2 new vaccums and they both get clogged up with fibers of carpet, the dirt never makes it to the storage container, is the carpet just c**p and my vaccums are sucking it up or is it normal for new carpet to come up a little at first? This is driving me nuts!

  1. we just got new carpet in our home a few months ago.  its defiantly going to shed A LOT!!  just vacuum small parts of the carpet and empty out the bag or whatever kind of vacuum you have i just have a bag less it works pretty good and doesn't get clogged to easy. we had berber carpet that ruined 2 diff vacuum cleaners because it kept unraveling and getting wrapped around the rotor and stopping it and burnt the motors up.

  2. It is normal to have some carpet fibers in the first few times you vaccum, but it should not stop up your cleaner.  Hope not anyway, I had a bedroom carpeted today.

  3. new carpet sheds, try raising the beater on your vacuum,
