I watched a "movie" on the Scifi channel last night called "Ghost Adventures" in which a group of self called ghost hunters filmed themselves going to the most haunted places in Nevada. I am addicted to watching the ghost shows on T.V. like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters international but keep on waviering between believing and not believeing. There were two pretty freaky events in "Ghost Adventurers" that are hard to dismiss. One was the "ghost" walking across the room and second was the flying brick. What do you guys out there think?

Here is the flying brick

  1. Newsflash: That channel is call the Science 'Fiction' channel for a reason - think about it.

  2. i saw that too cuz i had to watch it cuz of my mom and i kinda believe it

  3. Don't stop calling it BS yet. You're not really seeing anything.I think it's an obvious hoax.

  4. Don't make up your mind about ghosts by watching these shows. Go out to haunted locations and see for yourself. If ghosts exist, then eventually you will see or experience one in some way if not nothing will happen. simple isn't it?

  5. When you hear stories from friends about ghost sitings and even communication its pretty hard to deny that there is some form of afterlife and that many have had contact.

I fully believe that some of the stories are exact replications of what actually went down and that other stories are close to what happened, but none the less, it happens.

    Cheers

  6. The "flying brick" video is not hard to dismiss at all.  When you consider all possibilities of what could have caused what appears to be a flying brick, you have to count among them the possibility that the episode was manufactured by those videotaping it.

I am not comfortable assuming these people are completely on the level.  They have a TV show.  To keep it they must have an audience.  To have an audience they need to have some drama/conflict/activity.  Although this doesn't immediately indicate fraud, it certainly sets them up for the possibility.

I would like to know why the guy with the camera didn't track the "flying brick".  It's hard to say what you'd do in a certain situation, but if I were running the camera and I saw a brick fly slowly through the air, I would sure as h**l follow it with the light and the camera.  As it is, it's certainly convenient that the cameraman didn't do this.

So my conclusion is that this group has the motive to manufacture "evidence".  In addition, the "flying brick" doesn't behave in a way inconsistent with trickery.
