  1. For a girl with small hands avoid wrapping too many times around the palm, because the handwraps will bunch up. For very small hands, you might need to include a couple figure 8's and extra times around the wrist.  Proper tightness of handwraps is important. Wraps should be tight enough to stay firmly in place, but not too tight or they will cut off your circulation. If your handwraps don't feel right, do them over!!

    Good luck!

  2. Stick with the pot and pan baby....

  3. since you are a boxer ( even if new ) i suppose you already know that you should wrap your hands in the right way, also maybe its the duration of your work out.. for example the heavy bag, you shouldn't go at it more than it requires, let your hands rest don't try to over work it.. i hope this helped.. good luck

  4. At this point, be sure to let your hands heal completely before getting back into things - no sense in keeping them injured.

Without knowing anything more, it may be that your handwraps are too tight - if this is the case, loosen them up. It'll take some adjustment but you'll eventually find the best method for you.

If you keep getting cut on the knuckles, consider some padding - either layer some handwraps over your knuckles before you finish wrapping them (or you could make a pad of gauze) or try something like these:

  5. Assuming you're doing what you need to do in regards of hand protection, and have proper punching technique, you just need to wait until your hands toughen up.  Can you video record your workout and let us see how you're doing?

Check into this before you try it, but I heard that salt brine or pickle brine toughens skin.  Never tried it.

  6. are you boxing without gloves and wraps? your hands shouldn't bleed if you take the proper precautions. use pre-rap and gauze, then wraps, and then tape before putting on your gloves. use as much protection as you can for your hands. there is no reason you should hurt your hands while boxing
