Everytime i look at the clock its something:11?

Question

Like for instance i woke up at exaclt 9:11 last night. I jus got out of the shower.It was 11:11. Once the numbers were 4:52

Adds up to 11. OO yeah the other day, i got the iphone and it freezes from time to time. Guess what time it froze at? 8:11

It's really starting to creep me out. Does this happen to any of you? Anyone know why i keep seein these numbers?

When I first came on the paranormal section, someone was talking about this "phenomenon". It has a name...but I can't remember. Maybe I can go back and find the Q&A about it...but that would take me a long time. Maybe one of the "oldies" on here knows what the name for it is.Yes...if it has been given a name...then it has happened to a lot of people. You're not alone.(or weird).lol

EDIT...Go back and put in this question (but don't submit it)"When you see the same number over and over"....then look below the question and you'll see "similar questions asked". There are about 4 questions with answers the same as yours. This might help you understand better. Maybe it doesn't have a name. I thought it did.

It happens 24 times a day.  And if you're looking for it, you'll remember when it happens and not when it doesn't happen.  It's called the confirmation effect.  If you look for a different number, you'll start seeing that everywhere too.  Humans are made to look for patterns, even when there aren't any.  And there's nothing special about that number except that you're thinking about it.

its an 11 time 24 times a day, and if you count times that add up to 11, i am sure you can get quite a few variations.

Are you sure you never look at the clock and see some other time?

I think you just remember the times where 11 is involved. The fact that you looked at the clock at 4:52 tells me that this is the case. Why dont you keep a checklist of how man times you look at the clock during the day and how many times its actually an 11 time.... Then you will have a more compelling story.

dude its happened to me.... i always saw 9 11 because my bro started seeing that.... so i thought it was all elevens so i saww all elevens... but now i know its just my brain, because i started trying to find all the same digits... like 11:11:11 and 5:55:55 and so on and i would always start seeing them.... our minds have a biological clock so they know when its time to look at the clock =)

btw.... i once told myself to wake up at 8 42... just for the h**l of it... and when i woke up i looked at the clock and it was 8 42... kinda wierd huh?? same biological clock... doesnt always work, it aint perfect.
