  1. # 1's is perfect & i totally agree. Your horse can tell if you love her or not. so love her from the first time she sees you in the morning!

  2. You need to make sure that your body language is not asking her to come in to you.

You need to stand just behind her shoulder so that you are in a position to drive the horse forwards.

If she comes in towards you point the whip at her shoulder and keep encouraging her back out on to the circle.

I used to have a lot of problems when lunging, but then my instructor gave me a very naughty pony to work with!  She was constantly trying to whip around and run in the opposite direction so I quickly had to learn to adopt the correct body position to keep control of her.

If you continue to have problems, ask a more experienced person to have a go at lunging her, but it sounds to me like she is taking the mickey out of you!

  3. Well the thing I do is bring some tasty treats or if that doesn't work then maybe you should go out there alot and call it's name and talk to it. I have a horse too and she  trys to dodge me and get away but you just have to give he or she some time.
