Everytime i send a text from ym to my friend's cell he doesn't receive it?

i get a message saying he needs to reply to one of mine...but how can he do that if he doesn't receive them? how do i find the number where he should send a message to me?

u try to send to any other friends and try to get the format in which he need to reply.. with that u can tell ur frnd.. other problem can be... he cound have got the msg very long ago.. so he need to reply after sending 3 sms... its cost high.. not just like ordinary sms...
