  1. maybe common sense would tell you not to use the phone and the computer at the same time...

  2. Sounds like your cordless phone and WiFi are interfering with each other.  Try relocating either the cordless phone's base station or the DSL modem (which, from SBC, is also your WiFi access point) to put as much distance between them as possible.  Also, try changing the channel used by your WiFi -- which is a good idea anyway, particularly if there are other WiFi access points nearby.  (If everyone leaves theirs on the default channel 6, frequency contention can result.)  SBC tech support should be able to help you change that setting.  If all else fails, consider replacing your phone with one that does not use a competing frequency range.

  3. WiFi and cordless phone is interfering: change wireless router channel ;)

  4. try changing the channel on the router ?

get a newer band 5.8 ghz phone ( wi fi uses the standard 2.4 ghz band)

or do not use the convenience of wi fi
