The senior football analyst tips the Moscow-based club to sell the Japanese midfielder during this transfer window after partying company with Vagner Love.
The former Spartak Moscow player, Evgeny Lovchev, believes that CSKA Moscow have done good business by offloading striker Vagner Love during the January transfer window.
CSKA let the Brazilian national join his childhood club, despite turning down Flamengo’s initial 6 million Euros bid.
Lovchev revealed that the Russian Cup winner was not in the right state of mind to play after expressing his desire to leave the Luzhniki stadium earlier this month.
The Soviet Cup winner went on to admit that the Meshki have struggled in the UEFA Champions League campaign this term and urged the Russian outfit to add a striker during the upcoming winter transfer window.
"Zenit have proved out to be a top club in Russia. But the quality of their existing squad is not enough to help them a successful European campaign.” Lovchev was quoted as saying.
Speaking on CSKA star attacking midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Keisuke-Honda-c20516, Lovchev tipped the Armeytsy to sell the Japanese star during this transfer window.
"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vagner-c35793 and Honda expressed their desire to leave Russia but CSKA did not let them go last year. I don’t know what kind of promises was made to the players to stop them leaving but they both had a frustrating start to life this
season due to psychological problems.
“I think they need to let Honda leave this time, if they get an appropriate offer on the table.” The former Krylia Sovetov Kuibyshev player said.
Though Honda, who joined the Russian outfit from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VVV-Venlo-c40915 back in 2010, had an impressive start to Russian Premier League last season, the midfielder struggled to claim a starting berth under Leonid Slutsky this term after sustaining
a knee injury.
The promising domestic debut aside, the 25-year-old helped the Meshki to the Champions League quarter-finals, scoring the winner against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sevilla-FC-c40484.
