The Tunisia international has officially joined the Ligue 1 outfit after failing to agree to a new deal with Club Africain
Zouhaier Dhaouadi was expected to be handed a contract extension at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Club-Africain-c38815. However, talks fell through and the player was released by the Tunisian club.
Several clubs were keeping a close eye on the player’s contractual situation and the availability of the player on a free transfer only increased the number of suitors for the Tunisian midfielder.
Evian TG were courting Dhaouadi for some time now and have wasted little time in making a move for their long-sought target. The Ligue 1 outfit has announced the signing of the 24-year-old on their official website after finalising the deal for the African
player.
According to the club's official website, Dhaouadi will attend his first training session on Wednesday after penning a three-year deal with the French club.
“The attacking midfielder Zouhaier Dhaouadi has signed a three-year deal with the club. Tunisian international aged 24 will join the team in training on Wednesday and will attend his first practice session.”
Zouhaier Dhaouadi, who was phenomenal at the 2011 African Nations Championship, will join Carthage Eagles colleague Saber Khelifa at Les Croix de Savoie. The former Club Africain player will be presented to the press on Thursday and will be allocated a squad
number.
“He will join his fellow countryman Saber Khlifa and will be officially presented to the press on Thursday by the sporting director Pascal Dupraz.”

The 24-year-old, who was crowned Most Valuable Player of the competition, was also being courted by few other French sides with the likes of Auxerre, Sochaux also interested in attaining the services of the talented player.

Evian TG will kick-off their 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign on August 12 when they face FC Girondins de Bordeaux at Parc des Sports.
