I posted a full throttle issue 3 weeks ago and have tried all the ideas suggested by paulsc except for one. The motor has been at the mechanics a number of times over the past 3 months with no success. The only thing remaining to do is check the exhaust, just need some guidance or any other ideas.

  1. Sorry Kingo,

but I'm not up to speed with the problem.

Contact me if you wish and I'll try to help.

  2. Have you tried a remote tank and keep pumping the bulb while running> Also what Rpm are you turning>

  3. Years ago we had a similar problem. Usually the motor ran great, then it would start acting as if it were starved for fuel and soon shut down. After checking everything and I mean EVERYTHING, we finally pulled the gas tank and lo and behold there it was....................a tiny foreign object (a glob of silicon) from when we last pulled the tank and reset the pick-up tube. The foriegn object was occasionally finding it's way to the pick-up tube and shutting her down.
