Evolution: 5-year-old chimp beats college kids in computer game?

I believe in God, because irreducible complexities that evolution presents, however, I'm willing to peruse the conceptual complexties of EVolution if someone can explain to me the following:

1) Why do educators consistently point out that our "ancestral forms" of homo sapiens "used tools" In lieu of this article, please help me understand why they would do that i.e. tools? they want xbox's?

2) Since the use of Radio Carbon-14 dating isn't adequate to date our ancestors, we use "index fossils" to estimate our old ones. What is used to determine the age of "index fossils"?

3) Have you ever dated a monkey in efforts to get back to your roots?

There are other isotopic methods for determining age.  If you don't like that, you can roughly determine the sedimentation rate for certain formations that certainly pushes the date of the earth in the millions of years.  There  is a monkey in my ancestry but it goes back many tens of millions of years.  The common ancestor of the human chimp (back around 6 million years) is probably extremely intelligent as well and therefore the intelligence of chimps doesn't surprise me.  The irreducible complexities you describe are simply a lack of sufficient fossil evidence.  Just because you don't understand everything, or don't understand how certain complexities arose, doesn't mean that evolution still isn't by far the best explanation.  If you objectively look at the evidence, it is clear that life forms evolved over time.  There is no doubt of this in my opinion.
