  1. 1.Why have`nt we evolved in hundreds of years?

Evolution takes place on a much great scale then a few centuries. Think of watching a stone erode. The human race is actually evolving at a much greater pace then previously. That's due to our population in the billions.

2.If God created man in his image why were the first people so dumb?

Issac Newton said he saw so far because he stood on the shoulders of giants. Our society is built on what the first people gave us. My first computer was 64K of RAM, only one disk drive and a 5 inch floppy disk for a program. Was that dumb? No it was cutting edge for the time. That's how you must look at the first of anything.

3.If we evolved from apes why do apes still exist and not caveman?

Why shouldn't apes still exist? Evolution is much like a tree. New branches can appear but the old one don't disappear. Further we didn't evolve from apes. Hominids (apes and humans) share a common ancestor and we've traveld several million years along different paths.

4.How do we know the half man half ape fossils arent just man fossils and ape fossils mixed together by scientists so they can get rich?

The "missing link" and "half man half ape" isn't part of science. It's a red herring used by creationists to confused people.Remains of Homo erectus have been found world-wide, over decades by many different people from many different countries. One site has produced 45 individural skeletons. Given that many scientists look at the bones, faking  doesn't work.

5.If its a theory why are kids being taught this in classrooms?

It's language. In sc9ientific terminology "theory" means the same as "explanation." You asked "If its a explanation why are kids being taught this in classrooms"

6.What if I had a theory that mice secretly have super powers? Should that be taught in schools?

Extraordinary claims (mice with super powers) require extraordinary proof. With the scientific method, YOU are required to submit proof of such superpowers. Others will examine the proof, challenge it (Warning, it does get nasty!) and then try to replicate your evidence.

No, you cannot make such a claim and then demand others disprove it. I'd want to take one of your mice, test it by my standards and see what it has. Then publish my findings.

Maybe if your claims stand up and maybe if others agree and maybe if there's enough evidence, your theory will make the textbooks. However, evolution has been around for 150 years so don't hold your breath.

Oh yes, religion does have much to do with this. With science you collect facts and then develop and explanation. With creationists, then start with their explanation and cherry pick facts to fit it.

  2. 1. evolution takes a long long long time... not just hundreds of years, but tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands even...

    2. haha!

    3. easy, we didnt evolve from apes, we evolved from a common ancestor..

    4. scientists dont get rich off those types of findings.. and there are no "half-man, half-ape" findings.. there are findings of early hominids..

    5. all science based ideas are called "theories", not because they dont have significant evidence to believe in them, because everything in science is called a theory... despite what most people say, gravity is also a theory, not a law

    6. mhmm
